Styled Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Pixelcraft App Development Corp. ("Pixelcraft", "we", "us") handles personal information in Styled, our wardrobe and personal styling app for iPhone. It applies to the app and the online service behind it. Our website has its own privacy policy.
The short version
- Styled is an online service. Your wardrobe photos, outfits and profile are stored on our servers so the app can work across sessions and devices.
- To recognise clothing and give styling advice, we send photos and relevant profile details to AI service providers. They process it on our behalf and may not use it to train their models.
- We don't sell your information, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app at any time.
Information we collect
Account information
Your email address and name, and an identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google if you use them. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive the relay address, not your real one. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider; we never receive your Apple or Google password.
Your wardrobe and activity
Photos you take or import of clothing, and the cut-out and enhanced images we generate from them; item details (category, colour, brand, size, notes); outfits, boards and wishlists; the outfits you log as worn, including photos of you wearing them if you add one; and your conversations with the in-app stylist.
Style profile
Preferences you choose to give us, such as style, fit, body type, clothing sizes and measurements (for example height, chest, waist), budget and favourite retailers. All of these are optional.
Location
If you allow it, the app uses your device's location while you're using it (never in the background) to look up local weather for outfit suggestions. You can instead type a city. We store the city you choose, and for daily outfit suggestions we may store the approximate coordinates used to fetch that day's forecast. You can turn location access off in iOS Settings at any time.
Calendar (optional)
If you connect Google Calendar or an Apple calendar link, we read upcoming event titles, dates and locations to plan outfits for them, and store the access needed to keep that connection working. You can disconnect at any time.
Usage and diagnostics
Which screens and features you use (for example "outfit saved" or "scan completed"), crash reports and performance data, and a record of the AI processing each request used, so we can control cost and fix problems. These are linked to an internal account number, not to your name or email.
Purchases and credits
If subscriptions are offered, payment is handled entirely by Apple; we receive whether a subscription is active, never your payment details. We keep a ledger of the in-app credits you receive and use.
Dictation
Voice dictation in the stylist chat is converted to text by iOS on your device. We receive only the resulting text if you send it.
How we use it
- To run Styled: store your wardrobe, recognise and cut out garments from photos, suggest outfits and answer stylist questions, plan for events and weather, and track what you wear.
- To personalise suggestions to your style profile, sizes and location.
- To keep the service secure and reliable, prevent abuse, and limit costs, including per-account usage limits.
- To understand which features work and fix problems.
- To respond to you when you contact us, and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or build profiles to share with third parties.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run Styled. Each receives only what it needs for its task, processes it on our behalf under contract, and may not use it for its own purposes.

We use these AI providers' paid business APIs, whose terms do not allow them to use the content we send to train their models. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or to a successor if Pixelcraft is reorganised or acquired, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Affiliate links
Some product links in Styled are affiliate links: if you buy after following one, the retailer may pay us a commission at no cost to you. The retailer's own privacy policy applies on their site. We never send your wardrobe, profile or identity to a retailer or affiliate network.
Where your information is stored
We are based in Canada. Our servers and most of our providers are in the United States, so your information is stored and processed there, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We use providers that protect it with encryption in transit and contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Your account and wardrobe: until you delete them or your account.
- Temporary scan images: automatically deleted after 7 days.
- When you delete your account: your records are removed from our database immediately, and your images and sign-in account within about an hour. Copies in our encrypted database backups expire on a rolling basis within 30 days.
- Usage records needed to account for AI costs: kept with your account number removed, so they no longer identify you.
- Server logs: 30 days. Logs record which feature was called and when, not the content you send.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete my account. You can also request deletion without the app.
- Access or get a copy of your information, or correct it: most of it is editable in the app, and you can email us for a full copy.
- Withdraw consent to location or calendar access in iOS Settings or in the app, at any time.
We respond to requests within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or your local privacy authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is limited and credential-protected, and each person's data is accessible only to their own signed-in account. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
Children
Styled is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Beta testing
If you test Styled through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may also share crash reports and feedback you choose to submit with us, under Apple's own privacy policy.
Changes
We'll update the date above when this policy changes, and tell you in the app before any change that significantly affects how your information is used.
