Styled Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Pixelcraft App Development Corp. ("Pixelcraft", "we", "us"), a federally incorporated Canadian corporation, for your use of Styled and the online service behind it. By creating an account or using Styled, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Styled.

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. One person per account.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and other content you add. You give us a licence to store, copy, process and display it only as needed to provide Styled to you, including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy (for example, AI providers that recognise clothing). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backup copies that expire as described in the Privacy Policy.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't upload photos of other people without their permission, and don't upload anything unlawful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights.

3. AI-generated suggestions

Styled uses artificial intelligence to identify clothing, generate images and suggest outfits and purchases. These outputs are automated and can be wrong: a garment may be misidentified, a generated image may not exactly match your item, and advice may not suit you. They are suggestions for your own judgement, not professional advice. Check sizes, prices and product details with the retailer before you buy.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Styled. In particular, don't: attempt to access other people's accounts or data; probe, scan or test the service's security; interfere with it or place unreasonable load on it, including by automated or scripted use; reverse-engineer it except where the law allows; resell or provide it to others; or use it to break the law. We may apply usage limits, including daily limits on AI features, to keep the service fair and sustainable.

5. Credits, subscriptions and beta access

Some features use in-app credits. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and may expire as described in the app. Where paid subscriptions are offered, they are purchased and managed through Apple and governed by Apple's terms, including its refund process; prices and what's included are shown in the app before you buy.

If you take part in a beta (for example through TestFlight), Styled may be incomplete, change frequently, or lose data, and beta access, including any premium features provided free during the beta, may be changed or ended at any time.

6. Affiliate links and third parties

Styled may link to retailers and other third parties, and some product links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Purchases happen on the retailer's site, under their terms, and are between you and them. We aren't responsible for third-party products, prices, availability or content. Sign in with Apple, Google and calendar connections are subject to those companies' terms.

7. Our service

Styled, its design and software, and the "Styled" and "Pixelcraft" names belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, consistent with these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. We may change, add or remove features, and may suspend or end the service with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Styled and delete your account at any time from inside the app (Profile → Delete my account) or by requesting deletion. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk; where reasonable, we'll tell you why first.

9. Disclaimers

Styled is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pixelcraft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Styled. Our total liability for any claim relating to Styled is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Styled in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited, including your rights under consumer protection law.

11. Apple

These terms are between you and Pixelcraft, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Styled, is not responsible for addressing claims relating to it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Styled after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
